A qualified Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Kayleen also holds a Masters in Taxation. Having been in the industry since 1998, Kayleen understands the importance of constantly updating her skills to ensure they are current and relevant to the needs of her clients.

Passionate about assisting small business owners and operators to prosper, Kayleen enjoys assisting them to understand how financial statements can be utilised to make better business decisions that impact positively on the bottom line.

With over a decade of industry experience and having run several small businesses herself, Kayleen has first-hand knowledge of the challenges business owners face on a daily basis – wearing many hats and managing multiple tasks.

Kayleen communicates in a down-to-earth and practical manner, and is well-equipped with the knowledge and expertise required to assist small business owners simplify their accounting practices and procedures needed to be successful in today’s every changing environment.

A local resident and busy mother of three young adult children, Kayleen enjoys attending many local sporting events, walking, reading and cross-stitch when she is away from the office.

Principal

A Chartered Accountant, Mark is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (ICAANZ), and has been in public practice since 1998.

Mark’s experience comes from having owned and operated a number of accounting practices, covering a broad range of industry types. He has a solid understanding of the small business environment and the difficulties they face, relishing in the opportunity to assist clients improve their business to become more efficient and profitable.

Mark specialises in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) with start-up, structure, as well as ongoing advice and support. 

With a keen interest in self-managed superannuation funds (SMSF), Mark is able to assist clients with the initial setup of a fund, providing ongoing advice and support in regard to compliance obligations.

With their complimentary skill set, their hunger and drive, coupled with their individual specialities and knowledge, Kayleen and Mark, accompanied by their team are well placed to assist small business owners and individuals with their accounting needs.

Office Manager

With a keen interest in personal and professional development, coupled with a desire to keep up to date in the evolving financial services industry, Pauline holds a Diploma of Financial Services, has undertaken H&R Block’s tax course, and attended numerous TAFE & industry relevant training programs.

A competent and highly efficient Office Manager, Pauline undertakes a broad range of taxation and administration tasks, assisting her team and clients with a high level of confidentiality.

A local resident, Pauline lives with her husband and family close by the office, in Beaconsfield having grown up in the neighbouring suburb of Cranbourne.

Pauline enjoys travelling, walking and reading a good book, as well as spending quality time with family and friends in her leisure time.  A keen supporter of the AFL, Pauline is a passionate Tigers fan.

Accountant

A qualified Accountant, Kerry holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Economics attained from Monash University. With a desire to stay abreast of changes and practices, Kerry attends TaxBanter’s professional tax training sessions on a monthly basis.

Having joined the BTS team in 2015, Kerry gains satisfaction from assisting a wide range of local business and individual clients to maximise their wealth and minimise their tax obligations.

To relax and unwind, Kerry enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, playing netball, walking the family’s border collies, camping and four-wheel driving.

Kerry lives locally in neighbouring suburb, Upper Beaconsfield with her husband and family.

Receptionist

Efficient and organised, with a passion for acquiring new skills, Simone has completed a Certificate III in Office Administration and Certificate IV in Business Administration.

A contributing and valued team member, Simone’s friendly and caring approach ensures every client receives the most up-to-date advice and highest possible standard of personalised service.

The youngest of five children, Simone grew up in Colraine, Victoria and now lives close by at Cranbourne with her husband and daughter.

Archery, sewing, arts and crafts and going to the movies are some of the things Simone enjoys to do during her time off from the hustle and bustle of work.
